I'm currently finishing off Alex's book "Brothers". He mentions "swing" so much it's crazy. Their dad considered that swing as gospel for getting the crowd hot and thirsty. And when the crowd was thirsty, they drank. That's why they were so successful in clubs at the beginning.

I've seen them in the real world, but don't use them. I tune my guitar to wherever it's comfortable. Seriously. I just bang strings together until it's tuned. I'm a technological luddite. Im no better than you,brother!

One of the reasons I let go of several of my Washburn Dimes back in 2010 or so was because they had the cracks in the finish at the neck joint, a common problem with both the usa and import models. I only kept the best ones. Looking back on that decision now...I wish I had kept them all. But...
