I acquired a pair of CB H75s and stuck them in the top of my 1960A cab with a pair of UK Greenbacks in the bottom. So far I love it! I would like to try a quad of H75's but why mess with what works?.....I'll feel different next week!
I think the Duncan 59n sounds great with almost any magnet but the one it comes with! I have one with an A3 and another with an UOA5 in the neck spots of at least 2 Les Pauls. Takes that boominess away in my opinion. I didn't care for an A4, but it still sounded better!
I used an MP-1 for almost 2 decades! I still have several units in various stages of mods (Mk4 & 3.666) and disrepair. I break one out now and then........
I thought Frankie Benali was just an OK drummer until I heard him on the WASP records, specifically The Crimson Idol. He was really holding back (or held back) with Quiet Riot! Today is the 2nd anniversary of his death.
For sale a set of Wolfetone Legends in beautifully aged nickel.
Purchased new by me in Aug of 2021.
Vintage style 2 conductor cable, 14" in length on both. Long legs. Standard spaced. Zebra under the covers.
These sound FANTASTIC but I prefer the Marshallhead/Dr Vintage set!
$200 shipped...
2006 R6 modified (before I bought it) with a humbucker in the bridge. My #1 guitar. The bridge is a Wolfetone Marshallhead A2. The neck is probably a stock Gibson P-90. It was refinished and aged, supposedly by RS Guitarworks.
1981...yes, I can vouch for there being something special about the 81's! This one is from January of 81 and was my #1 for about 25 years. I still have it but its in semi-retirement in favor of prettier/flamey Custom Shop les Paul's that honestly don't sound or play any better than this...
