2014 Gibson Les Paul 1958 Historic R8 - Dirty Lemon - Gorgeous!
This guitar is from a series of R8's exclusively hand pick by Dave's Guitars for their tops.
Excellent condition - just a few minor dings/ scratches, and a small spot on the back with very light worming.
Also, for full disclosure, the top has what I would describe as a light clearcoat overspray.
You have to hold it up the the light at the right angle to see it, and couldn't get it to show up in the photos.
I'm sure it could be buffed out, but it's something that really never bothered me.
Neck is very comfortable and doesn't have the broad shoulders like most R8's, and feels more like an R9 neck.
I actually prefer the larger baseball bat size neck on my R7, and that's the only reason I'm letting this one go.
Neck thickness at the 1st fret - 0.91
Neck thickness at the 12 th fret - 0.98
As stunning as the guitar looks, it one of the best sounding Historics I've had the pleasure of owning.
She's acoustically resonant with a rich vocal midrange that just sings.
Weight is 9 lbs 1 oz on a digital postal scale
Little to no fretwear
Very nice fretboard grain
Stock Gibson Custombucker pickups with virgin solder joints
Includes the original brown lifton hardshell case and pictured case candy
Sold Pending Payment
Price - $3999 Shipped
Will split PayPal fee if that's your method of payment
