Was just wondering. I am about to pull the trigger on a 45/90W Electra Dyne head. How is it at low volumes with some FX in the loop? Usable?
I will have a band again someday soon but not right this moment, so it needs to remain neighbour friendly.
Totally awesome!!!!

I am posting this here so someone is gonna bid higher quick so I won't even start to be tempted to get it myself.

I want to use an EQ in the loop of my Randall RM22 to have a lead boost without the coloration of the onboard boost (which adds a lot of bass and makes the sound congested and compressed).
MXR 109 has
• 6 bands
• +/- 18dB per band
• Standard 9V operation
• No extra Gain/Volume slider
• 79,- RRP...
Actually I wanted to downsize and successfully sold some 6 guitars and 2 amps, but then this comes up and it's an absolute STEAL
It's a reissue post Fender 2005 US Charvel, within the 6xxx Serials
You can feel the quality when you grab it, feels better than the ProMods/US...
Anyone heard of these 3 Channel Monsters from Bavaria, Germany?
Looks very Diezelish, but sounds completely different, very vintage/hot Marshall.

Just read a V-Rock review in G&B. Great evaluation of an amazing amp, top marks despite the quite high price (in Germany it's getting quite expensive).
Here is a quick teaser of the article in the mag: http://www1.gitarrebass.de/magazine/ind ... =201105162
Follow up to my recent post about my new acquisition of a Groove Tubes Trio Pre.
I rigged it all up, the Cornford Mk50H, GT Trio, Korg DL8000R, GLab Switchers and controllers and some pedals. Everything is switched and controlled via Midi. It is FUN!
00:00-02:50 Explanation of the rig...
Received delivery of my Groove Tubes Trio Pre yesterday. This will become my Clean/Crunch Channel for the Cornford Mk50H (the GT and Cornford Pres switched via Rack). Actually I might also use the GTs Scream channel after all, let's see how it gels in with the Cornford.
Today I changed some...
I always bias my amps myself, using a Bias Rite. Obviously I don't know all the different methods to bias an amp, so this is the safe one for me.
Now on some amps I set the bias with master on "0" and the reading doesn't change if I turn the amp up with the bias rite still connected. However...
Actually I am looking for a preamp to do cleans in conjunction with my Cornford Mk50H head. So I'd be needing an E1 ;)
E2 would be nice though. What's the latest on this one?
Guitar: Edwards LP "Page" with BareKnuckle VHII Bridge and RebelYell Neck
Amp used: Cornford Mk50H, :inlove: Volume: loud for home playing but not crazy loud
Booster: Xotic EP, CAE 404 Wah

New Switcher Day and ... by accident ... New Clean Channel Day!
I got a GSC-3 switcher off Rig-Talk (thanks steve_k!!) and wired it up today. I wasn't planning on any weird stuff, but by accident I discovered a clean channel on my Cornford Mk50H!
Reason is the way I wired up the loop. In order...
What exactly is ghosting or ghost notes on an amp? I read it here and there and I have an idea of what it could be but not 100% sure.
Although I've been playing for >20 years
Does someone have a clip or good explanation of ghosting? Clip preferred.
