I'm really dying to compare this to my Rev 2 and Twin Jet...

Ugh. I’m thinking of selling my Twin Jet to get one of these. Am I crazy?

How much gain does this amp have? It seems to come on a lot less quickly than the other Ubers do.

I emailed Bogner and this was essentially their response. I don’t trust myself with poking around a live amp like that, so I told the tech about it and he’s gonna check it out.

Found a local tech who is going to look at it… fingers crossed that he can fix it.

How would you say it compares to a boosted Twin Jet? Wanting to see if it’s worth making a change.

Tried that also, no luck. Also, the sound finally gave out entirely now.

I used a bit of Deoxy spray on the suspect areas. No improvement.

One other thing that it’s doing is allowing me to play through the cab at a really low volume while the amp is on standby. It hasn’t done that before.

Sadly, I think this is the next step. And unfortunately there aren’t any local techs so I think it’s going to have to go back to Bogner.

All preamp tubes are fine.

PCB fuses are fine. I’m plugging directly into the wall. The issue started when I was trying to check the bias.

Have a 2009 Uberschall Twin Jet that I turned on today, but I’m barely getting any volume. I put another quad of KT88s in there but I got no sound out of them at all. Checked all preamp tubes, but they are fine. Fuses are fine too. Any ideas on what to do next?

we Do you have one or is it just going off the clips?

Spoke to someone I would assume to be Jorg (based on the accent) yesterday. He told me that they are really backed up with demand for the amp and that they don’t anticipate any more going out until July or August. He said Sweetwater has the most orders for the amp, but others have them too...

Other than Sweetwater, is anyone else stocking this amp?
