Don't forget to hit the rectifier sockets every once in a while, too. Often overlooked, but results in a tighter connection. :thumbsup:

I have two of them, and agree with everything that the OP said, regarding sounding like an extension of the amp, and tightening things up perfectly.

I would look at GC, before UPS. "IF" it truly was taken into UPS possession, then it was probably scanned, and UPS would then have a record of it, but GC telling you that UPS took it without scanning it... is suspicious. I hate GC, and do not trust them at all. I would guess that some snot...

Those pickups are pulling double duty. They sound great with a clean amp, and fantastic, open, and clear, with gain. You have perfectly reached the fine line between the two, because a tiny bit more/less in either direction, and it would not be as perfectly balanced and impressive, on one...
