Driftwood VS Two Notes Loadbox: All Load boxes aren’t the same.

I got the Suhr Reactive Load IR earlier this year. I'm not sure I'll record a real cab ever again tbh!! I've tried the Two Notes Reload in the past; didn't like it as much from memory.

    D-Moll versus VH4

Wow. This is an old thread. So I did actually get a VH4 in the end. In total I own: Diezel VH4 Diezel D-Moll Marshall JVMHJS (The Satriani version) Orange Rockerverb MKIII VHT Sig:X So.... D-Moll versus VH4. They sound quite different from one another, but still within the same family...

ThorpyFX Fallout Cloud fuzz pedal is a beast!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQwN-OUjzG4 I did a playthrough video of the ThorpyFX Fallout Cloud pedal. Now, I'm not a huge huge fuzz user... but damn I love the sounds this box gives me. I thought you guys might like to check it out and see what you can get with some big iron and a triangle...

Tacoma Narrows Bridge Disaster with 3 Diezel Heads

Got a single coming out soon. Here's the teaser: https://youtu.be/_rg1aNQ7CUg D-Moll, VH4, and Hagen - all our other amps just sat there not being used!

How can I make my VH4 sound more like my D-Moll??

Just pondering it really. There is a very clear tonal and dynamic difference between these two amps. The VH4 has tons of clarity and snap, particularly on palm-mutes, but it doesn't have a HUGE low-end. The lows are there, they're just very controlled. The D-Moll has a massive low end. It's a...

VH4 flashes all buttons when starting up ???

Doesn't seem like a problem but want to double check... when the VH4 starts up, is it supposed to constantly flash all buttons until you select a channel? Equally, are you supposed to deactivate the send 2, mute, and channel insert buttons every time you power it up? Or is this some kind of...

    VH4 pedal into an Orange???

I've got a D-Moll and an Orange Rockerverb 100 MKIII. I'm curious about getting a VH4 but they're quite thin on the ground when it comes to finding them used. So I'm thinking maybe I could get by with the VH4 pedal into the front-end of my Orange. Anyone done this? How does it sound?

    D-Moll versus VH4

Hey all, Have a D-Moll. Quite fancy a VH4 as well. I've played the Herbert and my band mate has a Hagen. This is a clip of us playing: https://www.facebook.com/tnbduk/videos/ ... 370891737/ What are the key differences in tonality between the D-Moll and the VH4??

    Back in the fold!

I picked up another D-Moll after selling the one I had before. Never should have moved away from it! I'm using it in 4-cm with a Line 6 Helix. It sounds amazing!! Here's a bit of a video of it in action: https://www.facebook.com/tnbduk/videos/ ... 1186082190 Other guitarist is using a Diezel...

    Fairly lightweight multi-channel valve amps?

For metal. Is the only option really the EVH5153-50watter?? Brilliant amp, but I hated the volume jump between the green and blue modes (please!! No ranting about how it's not a problem, just accept that it is for some people!!) Is there anything else? Something you could carry on the train to...

How can I record a high quality DI whilst monitoring amp?

Hey, Here is what I wanna do: - Record a high quality low-noise no-distortion DI at the same time as... - Routing my guitar into my valve amp - Attenuating said valve amp - Optionally having a speaker load for the amp, which allows me to get a line-out so that I can record the amp signal and...

Anyone planning to use the Line 6 Helix?

It looks seriously good. I'm planning on getting one and using it with my D-Moll in 4-cable-method.

Using pedals in front of a high-gain amp

Heya, This is my board currently: Like a lot of people, I just use all my pedals into the front of my high-gain amp. This goes for delays and reverbs as well. Because I like the sound. I also like having delay and reverb trails. What I don't especially dig is the raised noise-floor. Which...

    NAD: VHT Sig X!

So I've had a Fryette Sig X before. Recorded our last album with it (http://www.bridgedisaster.co.uk) I stupidly got rid of it. Been looking for one for ages. Finally found one. It arrived today. My soul is now at peace. And some clips.... Clean -...

Thinking of moving on from my D-Moll...

Okay, so here is my story. I used to use a Fryette Sig: X head, and I loved it. I stupidly sold it, and since have been jumping from amp to amp. I ended up on a Diezel D-Moll and I love it, but it only has 3 channels. I used to use the Fryette Sig: X as a pseudo 5 channel amp: Clean (clean...

Monsieur Deizel!! Smaller controller for the amps?

Hey Papa! Just something I want to float out there... I personally never need to use the master, loop, mute, or midcut switches on my FS7HE. Mid cut is always enabled for me. Master is always 1. Loop I don't use, mute I use my tuner. Is there any mileage in doing a smaller (and lower...

An 'always on' pedal for the D-Moll

Just wondering where to go with this. I want an always on pedal for the D-Moll that can tighten up my lows and add some mids and highs going into the amp, but I don't want it to distort when I'm on the clean channel. I suppose an EQ pedal more than a drive? Anyone used the Source Audio EQ...

Can I use my D-Moll as a preamp in standby mode?

My EVH 5150III can be used in standby mode, without being connected to a speaker. You can run the FX loop send or line output into a soundcard and then through some impulses. Works well for late night recording. Can I do the same with the D-Moll, or does it 100% need to be connected to a speaker??
