"There have been documented +’s as low as 12337, mainly in some prototype, nearly stock or customized circuits. In recent months I have witnessed two IIC I’s. These are IIC’s that almost made it to a plus, but had “Pull Deep” faceplates and a stock IIC circuit with the RP11A circuit board. These...
I don't mind working on them, at least the older ones. The new ones have 50 relays that require removing the PCB, yuck. Changing a 2C to a + or a ++ wouldn't be that hard I'd think, if one knew the component differences.
I'm guessing this hasn't changed in terms of Mike's doing mods anymore?
That said, does anyone know the actual schematic changes? Soldering isn't that hard if so.
Had a problem with a Mr Vermin I bought last year, I contacted them, they said send it in for warranty service. Tracking shows it arrived May 25. Since then, I haven't heard a peep. No acknowledgement they received it, no responses to many emails and messages sent through their website...
Incorrect but often repeated Internet 'wisdom' that led to silliness like "preamp gain sucks, power tube clipping rules!"
By the time a plexi is giving up the goods, there is clipping in the pre amp, power section, possibly speakers and transformer saturation. You cant cut that into pieces...
Stating my opinion, sorry you are so butt hurt.

What's it sound like dry? Add effects, everything starts sounding generic.
Not banned but I mostly only post in classified.
The mods there are out of control, arbitrary c*nts. They've chased a lot of people off and mostly TGP is now a forum of the deaf and uninformed parroting bullshit they saw posted by someone equally deaf and uninformed.
I quit using reverb when I sold a mint condition guitar neck and some dumb fuck tried to remove the nut, cracked the wood behind it, then filled a dispute. Was GD obvious what happened to anyone who actually works on guitars, but they forced a refund.
So now I use reverb to find things I like...
I own a lot of LPs and a fair amount of prs. A prs is not a lp substitute, it just isn't. To me, they are their own thing and really more of a superstrat substitute.
Also, as a luthier who has super ridiculous standards for fretwork and expects guitars to play clean at .04" high e, .055"...
He plays mostly bop saxophone lines and mixes in some blues and rock licks so there is something for non jazz fans to latch onto. He mixes those things in a way I've never heard anyone do. Also, I've seen him live a dozen times or so, and he's a master of controlling his sound live with...
