What do you guys think is the power tube that adds a throaty sound? I have heard VHTS, Bogners, Mesas, Diezels that all sound throaty. Then I was reading on the Bogner site they talk about EL34s adding a throaty-ness to the sound. Curious what you all think.

Do any of you guys know which new pickup Wade is making that is closest to the Torque? He wound me a Torque at about 14k(a bit cooler than normal) and it is great. It does have an edge though. Is the Blister Bucker based on the Torque? I know one of them is.

Man, this pedal smokes. I just got through playing the BB with gain at noon through the Bassman with gain on about 1:00. Unreal tones! Like it was made for Egnater! LOVE IT! Next up will be the RC Booster. Rich

Wow guys, the 5751 really works well in the PI slot. It cleaned a lot of the modules up some, better not clarity, a bit tighter. Really liking this thing in the PI!

Well, now I can add E34Ls to my list. I have had E34Ls in my Mod 50 for a few weeks and the bias has been perfect. Both coming in at 40. Last night I started her up and checked the bias. One read 40 and the other 19! WTF! I am guessing these are dying as well.

Well another EL34 set dies on me tonight. I heard this humming which got louder till I finally removed the TS EL34s. Back to JJ E34Ls for now. Is the problem with EL34 reliability also hold true for E34Ls and KT77s???? Thanks!
