show me yours... I think this shape is growing in me.
besides the neck dive thing which I've read it's fixed by moving the strap buttom to the top horn like a regular strat, what other quirks do they have? care to share some professional touring bands that use them? I can't seem to find many...
We've had this thread before, but it's been a LONG time, and things can change, so lets have it again
What's the best deal (and I mean a VERY good, almost STUPID deal) you've gotten on a piece of gear?
Like I dunno the guy that found the silverface in a pawn store for 300 bucks or...
for those of you that run music channels on youtube and get lots of hits, what's your technique? what type of keywords do you use, what else you use to get views?
cheers!
Guys, hit me up with some Les Paul shredders videos.....I always seem to have a lot of trouble shredding on my les paul......the upper frets are uncomfortable for my shot fingers to reach, but I still enjoy the tone of a nice les paul shredding solo....
what 'cha got? :)
I think he did a fine job IMO. You can tell he's not a "solois bass player" ala Cliff, but he sits in between the bassist shredder Cliff was and the Rhythmic bassplayer monster which was Jason Newsted, which imo is why robert has been a great fit in metallica.....he's not copying any of the two...
how ya'll started this endeavour?
I was 12 y/o when I listen to Green Day's Longview at MTV for the first time, instantly fell in love with the band and bought the Dookie Cassette. 3 months later I asked my mom for a guitar as a xmass present. It was a classical guitar....started taking lessons...

show us:
1) ONE guitar you'd take with ya all the time (it can be one of your own collection or not, whatever)
2) ONE amp you'd always cary with you
In my case:
1) a real fat strat
2) Blackface Fender Bassman
or played them extensively........
I owned a Renegade, which is awesome, I really like it, BUT I'm thinking about moving towards a smaller head format (size wise not Wattage wise). The 30 watt Rebel or the Tweaker 40 in this case would me more than sufficient for bar gigs and decent size...
Vintagier amps? even more than the Schmidt..... do you think there would be users out there that are not metal/rock players that could be interested in something else from Diezel?
I'd love to see a real vintage sounding amp from my fav. amp company (this one of course). Single channel amp or...
I did this A LONG time ago (4 years or so) a guy from HCAF had recorded the music and needed someone to sing this......I told him I didn't have the Hetfield sailor deep raspy voice but I'd give it a shot. At the end he liked it.
