That was great seeing you Pat. Thanks for sharing your Aloha spirit!! Cheers bro!! I fly out tomorrow but if we come in town will try to swing by Dan's Guitars in Honolulu. I remember him from that one NAMM show back in maybe 2006 when some dude just handed me like 10 ten tickets to see...
My experience has consistently led me to prefer lighter LP. The wood is drier and resonates better. I have had Norlin's Custom at over 12lbs and currently have a 68 Reissue that is unicorn light at 7pounds 13 ounces. It is the best Les Paul I have owned. (about 30 over the past 4 decades) I...
I have played Budda amps before and I do think they are a quality amp, but as others have said they are smooth and dark sounding. I have heard some people rave about them, but still, does not have that characteristic Marshall toothy snap and snarl.
Thanks Anje!
I have lots of guitars to cover varied ground so looking for this guitar to be true to its era. the neck was made in late '79 iirc.
Bridge considerations are.

I am so stoked on the resurrection. I got that guitar in trade for a late 70's Gibson the V (sunburst with binding) back in 1985 or 1986 from some hot shot guy named Mark Myles. He was animal on guitar and drums!. But kind of a dick.. That has been through it all with me but have not played...
Pre pro Charvel neck on a schecter/ mighty might body. I got this guitar when I was growing up in west la. I have had it for over 40 years! The body is kind of a tank and the Og pickups were shot somit is a mess right now. I am in the process of having the neck and brass parts put on a KNE...
Marshall DSL 40Cr is totally decent for 749.99 brand new before any discounts. should be able to get 15% off and then you will earn some rewards points worth about 50 more bucks if you use MF. That ultimately gets it under 600.00 new. Of find a later JCM 2000 that is post bias drift years...
Not my politicians... but I know what you mean. I was born and raised in LA/San Diego. Left in 1991. Unfortunately, the bad aspects of California are spreading here. There is and always has been anti- California sentiment in Oregon.
For the record, I, was half kidding and am not genuinely bashing the midwest.. certainly not in its entirety, Everywhere has its redeeming qualities and it's flaws. I like parts of Wisconsin. I traveled to Sheboygan annually for a business event for many many years. But there is so much...
Beautiful pics, Tahoe? Shasta? yeah.. just another California shithole? Lol.. .. I used to travel to the midwest pretty regularly for work for many years and I met some nice folks and went to some pretty cool places.. There are little gems everywhere, but for me, no ocean = no thanks...
Midwest is cheap , sure, but who the fuck wants to live in the Midwest? Not many, other than the people that are from there and simply don't know any better. Cost of living is the only motivation and that is not enough for most. From purely a business perspective, maybe that makes sense...
Congrats on the new amp and thanks again for a smooth transaction. So relieved it made the cross country trip over the Holiday weekend without issue! Enjoy!
