If theyre modern EMGs they have a quick connect wire harness on them. Should be able to just pull them out, disconnect the plug from the pickup, reconnect to the replacement EMG and you're in business.
Yes. I've got the Hetset in one of mine and they're pretty hot as well. The bridge distorts pretty easily in clean channels. The neck p/u seems to clean up better though. If I remember right the 57/66 were the predecessors to what eventually became the Hetfield pickups so them being hotter would...
The internet fanboys are analyzing that clip like the Zapruder film trying to get to the bottom of this. It makes sense that they'd try to get something in the public eye while the band is still in the spotlight. But I would think the release of the 2C+ and ++ were kind of the unspoken signature...
I know you tried the Katana combo but if you're able to use a separate cab, the head is a really great sounding option. It's pretty easy to get usable tones out of it without plugging into the computer and tweaking. Plus it has an effects loop if you want to run any external effects. The squeal...
MGR in CO has some great stuff. I think they also sell B stock items with factory blemishes. I bought an LTD Snakebyte from them a few years back for a great price. Was listed as a B stock but I have yet to find what was wrong with it. Amp selections can be a little hit and miss, sometimes they...
I had a stage II Deuce, didn't keep it long as I could not seem to dial out the high end and get a sound I liked from it. Knowing what i do about them now, definitely would like to give one another shot with some different cabs/speaker options.
If you say you're going to see Stephen Pearcy play at the Idaho state fair, nothing but love for 73 pages. Say you're going to Metallica, 73,000 pages of how their tone now is terrible, sold out, last good album was kill em all, blah ba-blah bafucking blah
Isn't it frowned upon on this forum to openly admit going to a Metallica show? I say this in jest as I'm taking my wife and sons to the same shows this weekend.
I love seeing Metallica live, i always will. However, the bullshit filler that Kirk and Rob do, as the call it, a doodle is an absolute dumpster fire. It's sound awful, they put about 14 seconds of thought into and it doesn't really showcase anything. Which goes to prove its the sum of the parts...
I still can't understand why or how Sirius is still in existence, much less people paying for the service. I haven't subscribed to it in many years amd have only listened to it during the free trials offered during the holidays. The playlists have remained relatively unchanged for well over 10...
Thanks, that's the info I was looking for. They seem unreasonable on the price and not willing to budge. It can sit there with the rest of their over priced junk.
Any Dean experts in here? I came across a Dean dimebag dimebolt lightning whatever the hell model in a pawn shop. It was behind a glass case so I couldnt get a real good look at it. However I noticed it had a licensed version of a floyd rose on it which I assume it's one of the very older...
I met Kirk Hammett. My buddies and I went to see Metallica on the Load tour in 97. We were in Seattle and arrived a day before the show. So what do a bunch of 21 year old guys do in Seattle, we went to a titty bar. When we walked in some guy told us that guy from Metallica was in the VIP room. I...
