It would just take a little development time. But, I am genuinely curious how many people would jump to such a service over Reverb, and if Reverb would just respond by lowering their fees bringing a swift death to the project.
I occasionally sell on Reverb, and aside from stupidly high fees, my experience has been good. I have only had an issue once where a buyer tried claiming an interface defective when I know it wasn't. Reverb sided with me but I just discounted him the cost of a pot and gave him detailed...
I have the latest Eclipse E-II full thickness. It's by far my favorite guitar. I was hunting for something that had the same feel as my dad's 90's Gibson LP and the modern Gibsons just didn't feel the same to me. The ESP nailed the feel and has all the modern features I am after like push-pull...
I'm very familiar with the schematics of these different amps. I'm not sure where you got the idea that I may have suggested they were the same. On the V there are 3 different circuits for channel 2 which sound very different from each other, and I was referring to 2 particular settings and that...
I have never used a 410, but changing out the speakers may get you where you want. For instance, a cab I had loaded with G12-65's had very little low end compared to my other cabs. Another thing you can do is stuff the cab to tame low end resonances.
I've tried to replace the SM57. When it comes time for mixing I blind test myself with the different mics/positions and always end up choosing the 57 with a small upper-mid cut. The 201 definitely sounds like an interesting alternative, especially for my Marshall Vintage loaded cab. But, I have...
I've noticed a lot of postings look like the seller went through Reverb, found the highest price that item has ever sold for, and threw a few hundred on top of that. As if we browse this forum without the internet and have no idea of what things sell for. I don't even bother making offers to...
This is my dream amp right here. Unfortunately, my hands are tied this month due to Uncle Sam. If it's somehow still available in a few weeks, I may be a buyer.
I mentioned this in another post a while back. I was against load boxes for a long time. I thought they all sounded like crap. I think part of it is that I mostly heard people using Two Notes boxes. After hearing the Boss I really started looking at getting one. The Suhr was one of the best...
It's good to know that if I just want all the wrong frequencies, I just need a Q7. The Audix sounds beefy without being dull. I think I'm going to have to get one and see how it blends with a 57.
I would never do this someone. I actually take pride in trying to make the deal as good as possible for whomever I am selling too. I know how it feels to be on the shit end of a deal. I don't ever want to be the jerk that makes someone else feel like that. Call me weird, but I feel a personal...
There's no need to be sorry. I don't think Kyle's video really does the difference between the two justice. Channel 2 on the TC may be closer since it's less compressed and you can roll off the mids a bit, but once you get to channel 3 it's not even close. The TC is very compressed and...
No. The voicing of the TC is not anywhere in the ballpark. Boosting it would take it even further opposite of the spectrum. The TC is already a very mid-forward tight sounding amp with a ton of compression. Boosting it would probably make it sound like crap. I never even would have considered it...
