Bogner Ecstasy Late 90's with Marvel Mod... SOLD!

Up for sale is a late 90's Bogner Ecstasy 101b with new metal grill headshell and the Marvel Mod..

This has the original Mercury Magnetics that Bogner used before he started making his own as well as the Marvel mod which gives you 3 voicing options with the flick of the 3 way toggle switch on the back of the amp. Settings are as follows... down position... Stock pre 2004, mid position ...post 2004, and upper position... Cameron voicing. Amp has been retubed with Tung Sol EL34B power tubes last year with very low hours on them.

I love my late 90s XTC. It’s massive sounding at band volumes with channel 2 boosted. I dare say it has more gain on tap than my 5150.

I honestly can't believe this is still here I had 2 97s, a 98 and #13 made and these were the greatest Ecstasy's I've ever owned! To me the blue channel is the greatest on these older ones

I sold my 98 XTC about two years ago, and regretted it ever since. I recently picked up a 2016 XTC, but it doesn't sound the same to me so I was schemin' on a way to get rid of that one and was eyeballin' yours. Got too much going on with the tax man and wife's medical bills, so I couldn't come up with a way to make it happen so this removes the temptation.

I’m only trying to keep you from making a massive mistake on behalf of new gear that likely won’t be as hard to replace. I think in the past 3 years I’ve owned mine I’ve only seen 2 others pop up for sale here, one was priced $1k above yours. Keep it and play it - read the posts in this thread as proof
