Diezel 4x12 replacement casters and mounting plates?

I’d like to know this too. One of the spring bits on one of my cabs broke so the caster slides out when I’m not paying attention and it attempts to topple my rig! ?

    Random cab centre post question

On a roughly related note: anyone know who makes these cabs removable castors? One of my little spring bits is bust so the castor slides out and falls off. (Re: my first question: After more picture digging I found it seems the vast majority of cab makers don’t have a rear screw to the centre...

    Random cab centre post question

Just had my old (USA made?) 412RL cab open and was pondering the centre post in it. Obvs it's screwed (or glued) to the middle of the front baffle, but nothing connects it to the back. I've seen similar in other cabs (I think like my old Marshall one). Is there a good reason it doesn't have a...

What speakers do you like with your Diezel?

Ah-ha! Is it the Tone Tubby Ceramic 4040 in my Diezel "Hemp Cone" cab then? I knew they were Tone Tubbies, but didn't know exactly which ones. So to add, I went from my old Marshall G12T-75 cab to a Diezel V30 frontload 2x12. That was my main cab with my Herbert for a good long while. Then I...

Long time Herbert User. new amp suggestions

I find using more or less channel volume in conjunction with more or less master volume can change some of my Herbert channel sounds quite a lot. But I bought a Hagen, which I now play a lot more than the Herbie, and it sounds like maybe for what you'd want. It's still that big lovely Diezel...

What?!? No talk of the VH-Mini??

Why would I care about about a micro VH4? I have full-power earth-shaking Hagen and Herbert sat behind me. My only question is which one to drag upstairs and take to band practice to drown out the others ???

What are these fine hemp ones in my 2x12 cab then?

Had a bit of a search on the web without a definitive answer, so thought I’d ask here rather than bugger about taking the back of my cab off… what are these hemp cones? I gather some model of tone tubby? Which ones?

    NAD: Diezel Hagen

Been a Herbert player for a over a decade and love it. Got myself a Hagen a couple of months back. I wasn't disappointed. :D

    Using multiple amps at once?

That's what I normally do, but often only with only one of the amps. By default to create the space I then tend to pan them L/R. If the amp tones are much different it can sound a bit lopsided if say the treblier/bitey one is left and the punchier/meatier one right, unless I do 2 runs of each...

    Using multiple amps at once?

Do you mean you record a new take of the same part with a new amp, i.e. just layering multiple takes using different amps one-at-a-time (only need to record 1 amp at a time)? Or do you use a signal splitter and play the same single part into multiple amps at once, like Adam Jones can be...

    Using multiple amps at once?

Hi folks! This is kinda a general question that would maybe better off in the main forum, but 2 of my 3 (main) amps are Diezels, so I thought I'd ask here, at least first... I know some of you folks have more than 1 amp. Do you use them for recording different parts (e.g. multi-tracking), or do...

The Columbus XLR connectors on my Herbie/Hagen?

Hi folks! I'm just building a new pedal board and sorting out cables. I was gonna just run a long midi cable as per usual. But then I was pondering what the columbus XLR port on my Herbert/Hagen does since an XLR cable it's a bit more roadworthy. Is it basically just the 3 used pins of...

If ya don't have a Hagen

A few weeks in and I'm definitely not regretting it yet. On the other hand my credit card bill isn't due 'til sometime next week...

If ya don't have a Hagen

You're all a terrible bunch of bastards, with all this peer-pressure and pushing me into it, what could I do? It's like hanging out in a den of junkies.   Going to pick one up tonight (along with a 212RL with the hemp cone tone tubbies). If my boiler breaks and my...

Tube 1 is *normally* the one nearest the input jack on any sensible amp (e.g. my Diezel has the input jack on the opposite end and the tubes are numbered the opposite way from that Bogner pic)

Back at playing again...but damn tubes

Not sure I know what you mean. Like hiss? Or squealing?

    Herbert love + MIDI CCs

Hello! I was recording with my Herbert this weekend for the first time in ages. I'd forgotten just how epic and fat this thing sounds recorded as I haven't really had any proper new tunes for ages and recently for rough demos I tend to use my Bogner to record ('cuz the Diezel lives nearer the...

Diezel Herbert and VH4-2 pedals live questions

Couldn't tell you truly, but if it gets too big and high-voltage tubes to "be proper" and all I'm guessing the price skyrockets, shipping/tax goes up with it, it's too big/awkward to fit/be easily powered on most peoples standard pedal board, and if it then ends up basically being the whole tube...

If ya don't have a Hagen

But I can't play/justify 3 amazing amps all at once. I'm not Adam Jones, much as I'd love to be. Well you haven't made it sound any less tempting. I might start looking at selling some unused gear and saving some cash. Anyone wanna swap one for a Fender Hotrod deluxe? ;)

If ya don't have a Hagen

Btw, if anyone has experience of the Bogner XTC and various Diezels, would you say the Hagen is *anything* more like it than the Herbert (people talk about it being raw/open/less compressed?!?!)? Obviously not a very comparable amp on the face of it, but I have an XTC 20th anniversary. It's an...
