    Jake e lee charvel (fender)

Honestly, the Jake neck made me think of my Warmoth Standard Thin neck with 6105 frets. It wasn't a huge difference.

    Jake e lee charvel (fender)

I've played one, and am a huge Jake fan. I didn't think it was worth the money. Not that it's not a good guitar, just that it would be fairly easy to recreate one using Warmoth or similar quality parts. For $1200-1500 it is more attractive.

New Floyd Rose for Gibson type guitars (tune-o-matic)

    Looks hideous.

    Les Paul Prices

You could get a new veneer put on that headstock. It might be worthwhile, even if it costs $100-200 to do it (no idea what that runs). I'd offer him $1000 for the guitar, all things considered.

Ozzy bent Jake over and he barked at the moon

I was thinking of driving down to Rhode Island to see Jake tonight, but decided against it. Good thing, because the gig got cancelled. How many cancelled gigs is that now for this band? On the RDC Facebook page, they throw the club owner under the bus. Regardless of who is at fault, not a classy...

TGP "hype machine" - contrived and intentional?

Big Mike suspended me for getting into it with some idiot that kept harrassing people. I had gotten him banned once, then he came back with a grudge. I ignored him for a while, then lost my cool and engaged him again. He started looking like the idiot he was, erasing his replies, until BM...

    Is Malmsteen mailing it in?

So weak, man......anyone that thinks Yngwie has a pussy vibrato is just completely clueless. He also has several actual Ferraris, which were shown in Guitar Aficionado magazine. Yeah, I wish he would try a little harder to play cleanly, or push himself, but it is what is. He's still a legend...

Rant: Hate when Jazz guitarists demo guitars

Are you talking about Mark at Nstuff Music, by any chance? He certainly can play, but he always does this pretentious meandering esoteric whispy jazzy noodling crap, while holding the guitar in an awkward manner with the headstock pointing at the ground. What he plays doesn't even usually make...

What guitar did you always want and finally get ?

Love the Voyager and those Nunos! I've picked up a lot of the guitars that I dreamed of as a kid, and they didn't really work for me now. I'm more into taking those designs, and using the specs that I prefer to make a modded custom version. It's sorta like the LP/Tremonti thing Squank...

Boogie curious. Nomad, .50 cal or DC-5

Pretty much what I said, too......the Nomad 45 is the best version, unless you're into modding amps.
