Assuming it's a 6-string pickup, I'd love to have it. Like I said before, I've been gone from this forum for a little while and I've forgotten what the acceptable way to make payment is.
Hey man - Just taking a look in here after being gone for a loooong time. Any chance you've still got this guy in your possession and it's still for sale??
Hope you're doing well.
Just a quick aside before you kick your 40 to the curb - Have you tried the crunch channel with say a tube screamer in front to boost it? Not sure this would do the trick but it's a pretty cheap experiment and you never know until you try.
EDIT: I finished reading the thread and realized that...
Badass!! That dude will always be a special guitar player in my mind. I saw him when MOD opened for Exodus at Perkins Palace in Pasadena early in 1988. It was my first thrash show ever. One of the best experiences I've ever had. That right hand was a beast!!!
Meh... If you don't sell much on Reverb and think you're being fucked with you should have told him to pound sand right at the start and closed your account. And never give a refund until your item is back in your hands and tested to be sure it still functions. Nothing like opening a return box...
If you're looking to boost an already gainy amp then my suggestion is to give the Maxon od808 a try. It's my favorite boost and will make just about any amp sound excellent. Used is always a useful cost saving option.
Hey guys! Been busy with school and my kids and then I had to reformat my computer so I've been afk for a little while. Things seem to be running smoothly now so I'll be checking back in more often from here on out.
Ridiculously clean and precise. I'm surprised at how far back on the pick his fingers were. He's using a lot of pick and it's still not turning into a sloppy mess. Impressive.
Yeah, I thought the Grammys were important back in the day too. My opinion changed when Metallica and Jethro Tull were both up for the first Hard Rock/Heavy Metal award in 1989. Since then I've made it a point to never watch it again.
Well that's different! I wasn't sure I liked it at first but after looking at it for a few it grew on me a bit. Get a thick leather strap to go with it and you're all set.
