plus vote here as well. I only have a few connections to make, but using them saved literally 3" of width and 2" of depth on the board I ordered custom for my rig. its almost hard to tell they are plugged in.
Looking for backing drum tracks that I can use for some home recording purposes. Looking for actual songs my band covers type of thing, not 'jam' tracks.
I dont mind paying for them, free is better with everything going on right now...
what you got?
The biggest issue for me is the MXR pedal and the 1000mA pull it needs. I found this Mission Engineering one that comes with a cable to run 2 9v-500mA outputs in series to give you 18v-1000mA which is what it needs.
Unless I'm wrong, this should suffice right...
So I am in process of finishing my live setup.
Line 6 Helix (owned)
Line 6 G50 pedal wireless (owned, sorta)
Mission Engineering L6 Expression Pedal(purchasing)
Digitech Drop (purchasing)
Digitech Freqout (purchasing)
MXR M222 Talkbox (purchasing)
I am looking to purchase a TrailerTrash board...
So looking to finish off my live setup... itll require a few new purchases of some pedals, a new wireless, and ultimately a pedalboard to mount everything.
I play mostly 50-200 person clubs in a cover band 35-60 times a year locally... My rig will consist of:
Line 6 Helix direct to board...
i liked his tone on the Flesh N Blood album much better. I think someone on here told me that was a mix of 2 amps though.
Yeah I thought he was always a Crate guy....
Hello,
I've tried to download, run/use some free IR mixing programs and I just can't figure it out.
Wondering if someone would be willing to mix a few IR's I am using into a single IR file. I'm just looking to simplify my signal chain in my Helix and avoid a parallel path where its not...
Looking to add one of these if my Helix doesn't get a similar effect....
However, I've done the pitch shift/drop thing before with the Fractal unit....and while it works, you lose that connective cycle of sound between guitar vibration and frequencies being fed back to the guitar from a...
I have two of these available...They are the silver/metal looking style. Just a solid standard expression pedal in a crybaby-like enclosure. They have worked great with all of my units I've used them with Fractal and Boss....However Line 6 has some different requirements and these have worked...
I apologize for bringing this here, but the L6 forums have been hit or miss for me the last 2 weeks from several computers.
First off general tone questions....
1) I've been hearing some lead tones A7X's latest album and also another song that escapes me and the 'attack' portion of the lead...
Looking for comparisons between the 2. I've had an original Ultra so I know what to expect with the Fractal stuff, and because I'm loyal, I tend to want to lean back to Fractal....BUT been watching some videos of the Helix units and Line 6 seem to have some pretty nice features and tones coming...
Just an update for those that are interested in these batteries. Loaded them into my Sennheiser guitar wireless after charging them for about 2 hours (I'm sure they were partially still charged from the factory). Wireless has 3 bars for battery life, 3 bars is for the first 3 songs with fresh...
I dug the 'effect' they advertised for the strings, but I only got slightly longer life than the cheapies. I recently put a pair of the NYXL's on both my main axes, and really dig them. I need to get better about wiping the strings down when I'm done with a set/night of songs, but they seem...
Was going to order some Eneloop's AA's for my electric wireless units, however I also would like to get 1-2 9v rechargeables and am not finding anything that seems as trustworthy as the AA's I'm reading about.
Any suggestions?
I have longed for my Peavey JSX head back as I loved the tones of that amp with the Active EQ's....but I don't play enough larger gigs to warranty having a real amp/cab anymore so I default to the direct IEM approach at the expense of missing that 'feel' that your talking about.
I've learned...
I'm using the Boss 100, I didnt care for the gt10, the cocked wah sound in the preamps drove me nuts. shouldnt have to use 2 EQ blocks to fix a preamp sound.
