    Some killer’s amongst the classifieds…

Generally. Used to be around here, high end shit was bought and sold on a daily basis. Like sold in a a few hours.

    Some killer’s amongst the classifieds…

Unfortunately the days of dropping a grand or two for gear on a whim seem to be over.

    Son of boogie?

The SOB was pretty much a Mark I reissue before reissues were a thing.

    Let's see your current pedalboard.

    I hate pedals.

    Jake and Ozzy...

I saw Jake on Ultimate Sin tour. He was on fire. His stage presence was incredible.

    Cheap Marshall?

I don't know what you consider cheap but there's a new loaded Splawn Quick Rod on the gear page for 1350. Good deal and better than anything Marshall has built in decades

20k/200 item 1099 tax law restored!

Right. I sold 12k on Ebay last year. My accountant asked me if it was runnig a business. I said no. It's all used stuff that I sold for less than I paid. He said no problem. End of story.

Cool Sabbath/Iommi Docs Born Again / Seventh Star

Born Again is a killer album. The production is horrible. I have an original vinyl copy i bought when it first came out and it sounds so bad. They need to remaster it.

MESA BOOGIE MARK IIC++ THE CRUNCH BERRIES AMP! REVIEW BY PETE THORN

Cool, but it doesn't make me want to spend $4k+.

Why do you have so many guitars?

I'm at 17. I rotate and play them all eventually except a few that were gifts. I'd sell some but with the way the used market is I will just keep them. If I was desperate for money it would be a different story.

    Practice amps

I have the Yamaha THR30. Great for practice and you can Bluetooth Youtube in for learning songs, backing tracks ect. There maybe some cheaper options now like the Katana air or the TC Spark and stuff like that. The Yamaha sounds great though. Nice wide stereo spread. Also have the Blackstar Fly...

    Sold 4CM snake

Here is a nice snake I built when I was gigging using an amp and 4CM. Has send, return, amp, and an extra jack on each end that can be used for switching your amp channel or anything else. Works great and keeps it neat by only having. one cable running back to your amp.Only used a few times...

NAD Traded for a Quad Cortex. Yay or nay? (Added clip of high gain channel, woah Nelly!)

Good trade. Iconic amp that is not made any longer for a mass produced computer. The footswitch is supposed to mount on the back panel.

    So, I bought a Splawn

2010 doesn't have loop volume. That was added with the 2012 update. A volume box or pedal in the loop does the same thing, yea put the master on noon and use the volume control in the loop to adjust overall volume.

    So, I bought a Splawn

2012 and later has more gain and saturation. I had an 09 and it was lower gain and super stiff.

Thoughts on the Marshall DSL20H?? Alternatives?

Dsl 20 was the worst amp I ever had. Bees in a can is the only way I can describe it. I would get any of the Friedman 20 Watters over it. Actually the little Soldano mini SLO head sounds better and they are like 200 bucks.

Who needs drugs when there's sugar and caffeine!!!

That's what my wife and I are doing, Optavia.I lost 40 (230 down to 186 and she lost 30. It works and it seems like it can be sustainable.
