I had one back in the 90s I think? Was a long time ago but IIRC it did the same type of thing the Studio Preamp/.50 Cal Mesas did. Pretty sure it was supposed to be a modern Mark I. No GEQ

They are well built, tight (for the era), sound good and it's not like you'll lose money if you give it a shot.

I had one I got cheap. I converted it to a SLO circuit. I should have kept it. It used to surprise the heck out of other guitarists.
