It's actually Greg Howe, not McAlpine. The singer was a singer in the local PA/DE/NJ/MD band scene, not a karaoke singer. She's a GREAT singer and very charismatic front. Very cool album, I dig it a lot!!

I've had both the JSX and 6505+ and dig them both and gigged them both for a long time. For me and what I like, I slightly preferred the 6505+. While the JSX was more versatile, I dug the gain tones of the 6505+ a little more. Seemed to have more OOOMPHHH to me, but I could get a killer tone...

Mine has never done that regardless if its on standby for any amount of time or if I turn it off without putting it on standby first.

I've been using my Budda for about 14 years and still LOVE it!!

For me it's still the Budda. Been using one for years and I haven't found anything I like better.

Mine is dead quiet when I switch channels. No pop whatsoever.

I'm using a G Major 2 for Delay and some Chorus/Detune settings. I use a Boss Dimension C for a lot of my chorus sounds.

I used one in the loop of a 6505+/5150II with no problems. Definitely try it on the CONSUMER setting if it's on PRO.

Is the I/O set to PRO or CONSUMER? For a 5150 loop you should set it to CONSUMER.

I had a Powerball but I didn't dig it. I recently tried the Steve Morse model and LOVED it!!

I dug 6L6s in that amp a lot more. Sounded bigger and fatter to me that way. I gigged out quite a bit with that amp when I had it and always got a lot of compliments on the tone.
