I guess I am an axe fanboy since I own a ultra and a II :scared:
I love tube amps also ...I just prefer the kemper for the profiling and stream line use
sorry to hurt your feelings
I guess it is the same thing until whoops, the guy did that preset on FW9 hence it won't work on any lower FW's and it won't sound the same on any higher FW's (at least going up in steps of 1) because the unit just became more real (and got 5 new advanced parameters added to it as well!)
(not...
Its not "simple minded" if it is just efficiency...if I can turn one knob instead of scrolling through 20 pages well thats more time to do other things I enjoy....like playing guitar.
I'd bet 80% of the users wouldn't even know what half of those advanced parameters do let alone how to use them...
well there were a few guys that were not happy with the 'MIMIC" FW and have not moved up
As for the advanced parameters....which should you go for if you want to change the bottom end? bass, graphic eq, para eq, "thunk", fat switch, dynamic depth, LF resonance?
the same shit applies for if you...
LOL maybe when axe-edit is working
I can tell you I'd much rather tweak with the kemper than the axe.....
I find the kemper eq more 'musical' if that makes sense where as some of the eq on the axe never really hit the spot so I would have to go into para/graphics etc
Thats the thing I felt the...
not familiar with the two notes...I thought it was just a load box? I'm guessing you use this with a head and DI it to front of house? Or for silent recording?
Why would you use it with the axe or the kemper (when they already have IR's or there own profiling?)
Like I said compared to the amp's I've tried/owned not close ...eq maybe...gain levels not even
I'm yet to see/build a preset that doesn't need a boost to get close to the gain levels on most of the high gain models IRL.
Not to get in a pissing match but I've used the fractal gear extensively...
I agree if creating new sounds means tweaking patches and only having to tweak them again on the next FW update.....
Not to mention adding more parameters each update...
In a week I had more workable tones in the Kemper than any of the Axe gear...kemper all the way
When you first go to the profiler section up the top there is a kemper amp and reference amp selection on the two left hand buttons above the screen so you can switch between the two and get levels etc.
Also the return level you adjust how loud the reference amp is in comparison (next to volume)...
I like the part where he says "you can trade it with anyone on a USB stick" .....sure Dino....if you want to share with me I'll take it!!!
I thought his main tone now was a mike fortin 800 that was profiled?
IMO just a mix of stuff thats been done much much better before
the humour is the typical australian 'take the piss' thats very deep seated in insecurity
I get the death metal comparisons because both of these are pretty fucking brutal IMO :scared:
I've fingernails down a chalk board that sounded better than the highs in this

this shit is just michael bay rock (myles sounds pretty decent in this...
Myles sings backup on some BW songs lol
I don't think any singer has caused as many riots,on stage tirades or brush in with the law as Axl....Axl and Dev both are bi-polar except SYL is loaded with humour and didn't have anywhere near the 'upbringing' axl did :scared:
Axls rage is a lot more...
guy has range , can sing in key etc but no balls in his voice
I don't think you are ever going to see another singer with as much rage as someone like Axl and thats a big part of his vocals
That chick sounded decent enough but just reminds me of someone off that rockstar supernova bullshit ...
very cool! just read the part where you wire up headphone out to a speaker out as I was wondering how the hell you did it without lol
you really like nevermore hey ;)
