Before I bought my JCM 2000 DSL 100, I researched the piss outta it and what I concluded was the last revision was the 2001 pcb board. So my assumption is any amp after 2001 should be good? I have certainly heard conflicting data.......but the boards are no longer being produced by Marshall...

I have owned a few Mesa that were suppose to be Marshallesque, but they all fell short when I compared them to my Marshalls. Not saying Mesa aren't great amps.

I like my Marshall 4x12 cabs. Sound great. I have changed out the handles to Metal ones on some. If a cab is rattling....I take it apart and look for issues....loose screws, marshalls stupid plastic side handles have been issues. Worst cab rattle ever was my Mesa Electradyne widebody combo...
