I got a set of gold lion kt77's to try out a couple weeks ago - finally got time to put them in tonight and try them - they're biasing about half of what is normal for my amp(which is about 80mv). I put them in - checked the bias - 39mv - i turned it up to 75 and played it for a bit - sounded ok...

I think i was reading about those sovteks. Maybe i'll try them out. This may be the last tube swap in the tsl for awhile - i may be in a position to buy another amp or two soon and i think i may do just that lol

And my GOD these things are BRIGHT in this amp!! Like razorblades to my f'n eardrums lol...i think i'm gonna have to go back to jj's in it. After that....i think i'll prolly hang on to this thing, but it's time for me to step up to something better lol. Are jj ecc083's brighter/higher gain than...

The only thing i could find on google...

I got some gold lion KT77's the other day with that 5751, and decided to wait a few more days to put them in and ordered some tung sols to replace the rest of my pre amp tubes.
