i have a half open-back 412 old school 80s/90s mesa cab and the gflex seems to have decent midrange in comparison with a Les Paul. you could always crank the mids and turn down the bass on the EQ as well...
I've had my Genz Benz G-flex 212 cab (ported and baffled) for about 10 years. I can use a single 12" at 8 ohms or both (4 ohms or 16 ohms). I can also run my S120 in stereo with two 8 ohm jacks. There is an extension jack but I've never used it.
