I've owned 3, all of which I would have kept indefinitely, had I not had to sell them for various reasons.
Ear Candy Buzzbomb. This thing was awesome. Great sound. Really sounded like a 412, like they claim. Tolex job on the bottom of the cab was not great, and peeled back a tiny bit. Other than that, this was, by far, the absolute best built cab I have ever seen. I think you could throw it off of a 3 story building and it would be fine. Pretty picky about speakers. Tended to make typically non-fizzy speakers sound fizzy. Basically, you gotta find speakers that match the ports tuning or whatever, but once you do, forget about it. Nothing sounds better. I had to sell this to help a girlfriend pay rent.
Had a Vader 212. I LOVED this cab, too. Of course, the speakers were a huge contributing factor. Tight cab!! Could get kinda harsh and lacked a touch of low end at higher volumes. I used this mainly for playing at home, though. The rhino lining or whatever was awesome. Had to sell it because my band at the time was forcing me to get a 412.
Right now, I have a custom Aftershock oversized 212. Its enormous. Nearly the size of my Avatar contemporary 412. This 212 is actually the only cab I currently own, but I would really like to save up some and find another buzzbomb. It sounds like a 412, but is less than half the weight. I love how it sounds, but that's about it lol. It has basically no bracing inside, which I was pretty bummed about. Maybe the joints will stay strong forever, but its basically just a box with speaker holes in the front. The speakers are offset from each other, and I dig that. This particular cab is finished with furniture finish, and I have basically destroyed a good amount of it...tons of scratches, dents, dings. I take this thing out to shows, so what can you expect...furniture finish is a JOKE on a cab that gets taken out. Maybe nice at home, though. The dude I bought it from said he hadn't been able to scratch it. Whatever, I don't care that much about the finish, more concerned about the actual build quality. Ideally, I would like to keep this cab at home for recording, unless I destroy it first, and get another cab to take out to shows.
