Thanks for your replys guys! @Dave: The Voodu has unbalanced outputs, one of which can also be used with headphones: Because of this my uninformed assumption is, that using headphones with lower impedance than stated could have similar effects as powering up an amp with no load connected...

Hi people, I've bought a used Rocktron VooduValve (European version, older model pre On-Line, with original power supply) on Ebay and after playing with it for about 10 minutes it suddenly shut down and is not turning on since. Luckily the seller is a cool dude who offered me to send the unit...

Thanks man! Go see if there's a dealer near Greenville and check out what Diezel has to offer. Certainly some of the finest amps in the world and on top of that Peter is the nicest guy ever, even though he has achieved so much and is rightfully worshiped by tone freaks worldwide!

All the Mark amps have plenty of magic, it`s just really complicated to dial them in. Mainly it`s because of the interaction between all the options, e.g. turning up the treble is going to change the mids etc. I think it`s impossible to judge a Mark series amp from testing it in a store...
