If you don't have a multimeter, you can check the speaker(s) itself. If it says 16 ohms, it's most likely an 8 ohm cab, if it says 8 ohms, it's most likely a 4 ohm.

Man, the clean channel on the D-moll is to die for :) A touch of (external) reverb, and the neck PU of a Tele = gorgeuos.

Between the Diezel and the Laney, I cover every base that I like like the sound of :) So yes, very happy.

I've found that, concerning passive picukps, the Lawrence (Wilde pickups) 500XL sounds very nice. It's polite in the low end, which is a good thing, since the D-moll has more than enough depth :) I also like the EMG81, but not everyone likes active pickups.

I gigged a Bandit through a Marshall 4x10 cab (guitar cab from the 80s) Sounded killer. Put that amp through a closed back cab, and you have an even more killer metal sound.
