Marshall amp in a box pedals

I'm no expert but, I really like the MI Audio Super Crunch Box ver.2 I recently picked up in a trade. Very tweak able with the mode and EQ controls.

Necks: Warmoth - USACG - Musikraft?

Been reading a lot about USACG doing downhill recently with new ownership. Lots of issues. I believe most of the old USACG crew jumped ship to another place called bestguitarparts.com https://www.bestguitarparts.com/ I've heard nothing but praise for BGP.

    Maxon OD808 anniversary special...

Who buys Maxon 808's new? Btw, the Maxon 808 is a pedal I will always own. Mandatory pedal for me.

NPD! VFE Standout. holy crap boost.

I believe Peter put out a video stating he was at least temporarily if not permanently shutting down VFE due to personal reasons. Too bad, he was one of my favorite builders

NAD Powered Kemper. Whats everyones favourite DI profiles?

When I had a Kemper, I used the SinMix DI pack. It was great. One thing I noticed when playing high gain through a cab was most high gain profiles sound extremely similar. Then I put some flatter sounding speakers, the Eminence EM12, in my G-Flex 212 and it was a night and day difference. All...

NPD! VFE Standout. holy crap boost.

One thing to consider when evaluating noise level is the Standout has massive amounts of output compared to the Maxon OD808. I run my Standout with the level around 1 or 2 O'clock and it still has way more output than the 808. Cranking output level on Standout can get noisy but, at my settings...

    NAD: Mesa Content

Great amp. I know a lot of guys use channel 2 with EQ1 and channel 3 with EQ2 but for some reason it seems to get most brutal for me when using channel 2 with EQ2. Weird since I thought both EQ's were the same. Could be just in my head.

    2x12 cabs: What's your choice?

Another vote for the G-Flex. Every amp I have put through it sounded good. They come with Eminence speakers designed to go with the G-Flex. Most people find those a bit bland. I have some K-100's in mine and it crushes. Also with a pair of Eminence EM12's it sounded great with my Kemper I had.

Fishman Fluence users, I have a question.

I was hoping some Fluence users could answer a question for me. I want to know if I can direct swap a Fluence for an EMG without grounding issues. I have a HSS EMG Strat type guitar and think I'd like to try a Fluence in the bridge. I really like the neck and mid positions and want to keep them...

Perhaps. I did not realize a Floyd nut shelf should not be cut flat.

Floyd Rose quality not what it used to be?

I am starting this thread because of recent issues I have had with Floyd Rose parts. I recently got a Floyd equipped guitar that had a terrible sitar type buzz on the open high E string. I confirmed neck relief and string action over first fret were in an acceptable range. I felt it had to be...
