This is so much me than the Axe-FX. It sounds good.

I like playing thru a cab and got some IIc+ files + an Aldrich from suckerfreegear. The Aldrich is really cool.

What your favourite DI profiles?

I'm also trying out both a Power Station 2 and the built in power amp. The Fryette adds some warmth to the tone.

Dude I own almost all the SFG stuff, you're gonna have to work hard to find better.

For anyone else, standard guys apply.....

SinMix,
CiliLabs,
Reampzone,
Josh Middleton
LiveReadySound

I would honestly try the free ones all these guys offer...some of them I really like, some of them the profiles just aren't for me. Hit Rig Exchange and see what's up BEFORE buying, some of them are going to be dialed to your taste and some won't.....makes sense to try and save $ if you can, right?

When I had a Kemper I loved Reampzone's BE100 pack, SinMix's Mesa Mark IV, Cililab's Butterslax for DI profiles. Also ToneCrate for Studio profiles.

Thanks for the ReampZone recommendations, I appreciate it .

When I had a Kemper, I used the SinMix DI pack. It was great.

One thing I noticed when playing high gain through a cab was most high gain profiles sound extremely similar. Then I put some flatter sounding speakers, the Eminence EM12, in my G-Flex 212 and it was a night and day difference. All the profiles suddenly has their own character. I even preferred some with cab sim on.

Yeah maybe I should have changed speakers like that. I really couldnt tell a difference in a lot of amps. Actually even with a powered FRFR a lot of amps sounded the same to me. I was kinda disappointed cause I thought every amp would have its own sound and personality. The Kemper can get damn good on the sound but it has no way of knowing the personality of different amps.

Just got the Snorkler. That’s a good one ??

That boosted Snorkler profile has been my go to for months now. So fuckin good for drop tuned metal.

Get my Splawn profiles off the Rig Exchange. I have Merged ones on there that'll let you separate the cab properly. I THINK I did some DI profiles as well.

EDIT:
• ReAmp Zone
• SinMix
• Guidorist
• LiveReadySound
• Deadlight Studios
• Vrad Studios

I am glad you guys like it but you should have seen the behind the scenes on if we were going to do a profile on that amp or not. That was my secret weapon, or my secret tone when it came to my guitar tone.

I mean I found it in Reinhold's home town of ULI Germany. Took over four years to restore that amp because it was dismantled by "techs" in the years of 1989-2010.

Got it in huge tiff over Bogner USA and it's LA employees when I brought the amp in, low and behold Mark Cameron came in to save the day. Restore the amp and bring it to what you guys have in your profiles to day.

Also did I mention it is the same mod as the Snorkler used on Facelift plus this one had a lead boost and effects loop.

Not SPAM but it's on sale for the next very short time for 15 dollars but here it is on Ebay:

Still don't have a Kemper but I frequent the profiles on youtube.

If you are into an Uberschall tone, this is definitely the closest representation I have heard.
