RCA short plate, but the Tungsol, Chinese and JJs sound good to me too.

If you are looking at the back of the amp, put it in the second socket from left going right. See how it sounds.. I found them to be more clear and neutral sounding, but still prefer the Tung-Sol.

I have '14 BE100, and this pedal makes my 6505+ sound damn close. Using same guitar, cab, etc. Not exact, but it's hard to tell the difference. This is with the gain at 9 0clock on the pedal and internal set at noon, through clean channel of 6505+.
