For internal guitar related soldering, I end up using something like this for stripping the super thin gauges like pickups.

For instrument, xlr and others, I have something a bit larger. Those are easier to...

I use a small vice to hold connectors and wires (when I'm working outside of a guitar, anyway). Other than that, some heat shrink tubing and an electronic solder (I like thinner gauges) and you're off to the...
I have the 1-15 version of the Ampeg combo above. I feel like it gets the job done (I'm a guitarist mostly, but I sit in on bass occasionally with groups.)
In my experience, the sound guy at the clubs I play want to take a direct feed to the board anyway. I end up just using my combo for...
It's super fake. Wrong logo, headstock is the wrong shape, knobs in the wrong place, EMGs are fake, back logo and serial number font are incorrect....
Knob layout should be like this:
Headstock shape should be like this:
Perhaps, but I doubt it. The guitar was white originally and has yellowed in the 40 years since it was new.
Here's a section that doesn't see as much light, and you can see the white binding showing through in sections. It makes me think the clear has yellowed but the color hasn't.
For me, standard tuning would is .010-.052, which is the same set I'd use for Eb or Dropped D.
D Standard is .011-.054
C Standard is .012-.056
I use the same gauge whether it's 25.5 or 24.75.
I also have a 27" baritone that I use the same .012-.056 set on. It's typically in C standard.
He's probably still waiting on Paypal. Tell him you'll refund his money and ask him to ship it back. Refund happens after the amp is back in your possession. Let Paypal and Reverb know that this is your resolution for the issue.
If he complains about getting the money first, tell him that...
Why not just avoid Paypal, Reverb and the like? Have him ship it back, refund the money and call him an asshole? This seems like a lot of hassle to put up with. You're out the money you paid to ship it to him, he's out the money to ship it back to you.
At the end of the day, I'd hope that with...
Photobucket must be doing something weird again.
Still have the LPC Iron Cross, though it's promised in trade for a guitar that's currently being built.
I have three of the Proline/Warwick 7 guitar stands. They're reasonable for what they are. The Les Pauls and other single cuts are all a bit close together, so you have to be careful pulling them out and putting them back in. I've also put old t-shirts on all of the foam so I don't have to...
I use the EB Not Even Slinkys (.012 to .056) in C standard on Eclipses. I'd probably be fine with it a half-step lower in B standard.
I'm able to get the .056 to string through a Sperzel, though I usually have to make sure it's a pretty clean cut on the end of the string before threading it.
