That sounds pretty cool, Mojotone is located very close to me but I'm not all that familiar with them. Combo amp is definitely easier and if you are mic'd anyway I'd say go with that. I prefer to have a head and cab, but a few more years of hauling this fryette fat-bottom around and I'll...

I was really into Paul Gilberts tone while he was using Laney, I'd say his tone is still really good, but personally I loved it during his Laney era.

I'd say check out the Port city oversized 2x12, you can get them unloaded for about 600 bucks in custom tolex colors. They sound huge, I'd say just about the same as most 4x12's :thumbsup:

Another cool thing about the Zuul is that you can split the signal to run it in the loop and in front of the amp
