I noticed that most of the manufacturers use two 16 ohm speakers, wired in parallel in their 2x12 cab, which is then an 8 ohm cab. Is there a reason for this? You could also use two 8 ohm speakers wired in series for a 16 ohm cab. But you don't see that as often. I'm getting ready to buy...

He's actually using a pick for several things on both the Winery Dogs records. He's said in interviews that it just depends on what he's going for. I'm pretty sure he's using one on the outro solo on Empire, and there are other places that sounds like it as well.
