If you're looking for delay and you're considering adding a chorus, you really should try the True Tone H2O. It's a fantastic sounding pedal that does both delay and chorus. Very fat sounding analog-ish pedal.
I could own both, but as it is now, the SLO just sits in its case. I normally gig with a 101b or old Marshall. I was contemplating selling the SLO, picking up the HR25 (so I still have that Soldano flavor when I need it), and use the difference in price to pickup some new stuff.
Which would you rather have? The SLO is a classic, loud as balls, iconic tone. . .but isn't the HR25 a more updated, lower watt version of the SLO?
I have a SLO. . .but I'm considering selling it and getting the 25.
Am I crazy?
I thought he was cool. He's got a very dry humor, so if you don't get that, it's easy to think he's coming across like an asshole.
So, was he kidding about showing Randy the tapping lick in Flying High Again? At first, I thought he was serious, but then I was wondering if it was just his...
I have an early Budda Wah, that no longer 'wah's.' Does anyone have a source for original parts, or any idea how I can get this thing working again. I've had a few techs look at it, and no one's been able to really diagnose it.
These Kotzen Teles are killer. Made by Fender Japan, which is essentially a custom shop in Japan (it's not the same thing as Japanese made Fenders that are sold in the US). The Kotzen Teles play like CS guitars, because that's essentially what they are.
Not sure if the ones available in the US...
The plexi mode won't get really crunchy. You have to really crank it (like and old plexi) to get it to mildly overdrive. It's a great platform for drive pedals though.
Honestly though, the blue channel is so good, you won't ever use the plexi channel.
they're just great sounding delays. A lot of those old processors have a low bit rate that just does something ear-pleasing to the signal, even when bypassed.
I watched a show from the Promised Land tour from the guitar pit, and there were a few Wizards. I took pics, so if I can find them, I'll post them here.
