Priest was the first band I truly just loved as a young'in. This song didn't really sound like priest to me, it really is a shame KK is not in the band anymore.

I think its cool man! Love the harmonies! I agree what some said about the bass, I'd consider hitting it with a slight boost or TS to get some definition.

Honestly the clips I hear of the ultra sound way more aggressive to me than my rev green. But then again I think Im still running stock winged C tubes, I really should change them out and rebias the amp.

I agree with you man. I grew up with hearing Waylon Jennings, Jerry Reed, Johnny Cash and even some Johnny Horton on my dads record player as a kid. It's probably the only country-ish music I know to be honest... country isn't that big here in Hawaii.

There has always been hints of heavy riffs here and there. The beginning of Loss of Control and parts of the main riff for House of Pain are bad ass to me.

Not very often nowadays, but I usually use fast fret on them before jamming then wipe the strings down really fast with a clean rag before putting it away.. it really helps.

Dude, you have to adjust the hype trim pot thats located inside the pedal. Previous owner may have set it to mediocre ? I have a few VFE pedals, Standout v1, v2, Dragon and a Pinball. I prefer v1 standout over v2.

I have actually... not sure if was me, or maybe my shit wasnt working right but every time I tried SSD5 I could barely hear the drums. I would crank my levels up and could barely hear it so I gave up. I guess I should try it out again
