Yeah, listening thru on my laptop with a different headset, snare definitely buried. I was experimenting with other kits and levels n stuff. I may try those GGD drums, I've heard some good clips with those things.

Have you tried Slate's SSD5?
Simple-to-use and with documented exceptions all the stuff's got analogue outboard baked-in.

I have actually... not sure if was me, or maybe my shit wasnt working right but every time I tried SSD5 I could barely hear the drums. I would crank my levels up and could barely hear it so I gave up. I guess I should try it out again
