You know what you said. Basically you said that sampling at 48khz was enough so higher sample rates was irrelevant.
By the way i would like to know if FAS is working on a loadbox system.
It could explain why you spread fear here.
"Vive la France."
Now if you don't know what can do frenchies you can check this thread (though the France is really going down actually and i'm afraid that we frenchies have entered in a destruction process. Destruction of our civilisation) :

That's the point for the OT :
ANY other impedance will damage the windings in the OT and eventually it will burn out, running the amp low will increase the time to burn out but does not stop the damage.
The level is too small to make the wires hot and burn the insulation placing the OT in short...
After half an hour of play the OT is completely cold. You have to tell me how the insulation of the transformer can burn if it is cold.
I will try to check what you say because that will not be the first time that you spread technical bullshit on internet like saying for example that 48khz is...
I think that i understand that people say it's meh but they don't know what they are talking about and they are not able to make a valid technical conversation about the subject.
Lol 4k ohms.
I played half an hour with the JMP and the JCM2000.
The JMP works so much better but it has nos tubes.
The level is very small. Into a 4x12 i have the same level than my kemper plugged directly into the cab.
That's how i know that it is safe for the soundcard. That gives me a...
In fact it is unsafe only for the soundcard. I could burn the input diodes of the circuit that's all.
The amp's level is so low that i could unplug the amp totally and play a moment without burning the OT.
You have to understand what happens when you burn the Output Transformer.
As you can see here there is no other load than the input of the soundcard (4K).
I used NadIr + God's Cab Ir.
Of course your are right but for a very very small signal it works and it works pretty well.
That is something to discuss for amps with master volume.
Here is my JMP master set to 1 plugged into my soundcard.
I'm using NadIr plugin with God's Cab IR.

Flac available for download (click on the arrow).
I bought an Epiphone Tom Delonge and i'm very happy.
It's cheap but has a great construction, mono pickup and you can easily work on the electronic.
Best bang for the buck in the ES335 world IMO.
