No jam up?! Does that mean no effects, no boosts, no eq's?!?!!

I guess there are eq's

Agreed. They priced it a bit high for what it is. I like their stuff, but I'll be holding off on this one for now.

Demo worked for me on macbook. Tried it, sounds alright but I personally think Peavey's Revalver 4 sounds better.

Quick question guys; is Bias Desktop strictly a plugin, or does it have a complete desktop client/UI ala GuitarRig or the like? I tried the install, it wrote to a directory in the program file(x86)\common\Bias but no start menu or desktop icons.

Postive Grid just tweeted: #BIASdesktop announcement coming this week

Store seems to be set to "invitation only" now.

However, users who already bought the product got an update to 1.01 and I tried it today.

Saving patches now is broken (Workaround: I saved my changes in the plugin settings in MainStage or Logic), but Tone Cloud access shows up and you can use rigs from the large database of iOS users!

EDIT: 24h later saving works again without another update, probably a temporary bug.
Wondering about the 1.01 version number, this should rater be 0.9b

I was not able to save to the ToneCloud so far.

Thread revival time... I NEEEEED this to come out. Tired of waiting for it. Where's the demo?

Sounds very good but it made my windows 7 pc go bananas and can't run at all. Anti virus was ringing all over and in the end it even managed to make it not accepting ...internet at all. So I took it out and it's back to normal. Weird shit.

Today the plugin tells me there is an update to 1.04 available and when it takes me to the store page and I log in, I can not download the update. But I see a new price. This time it's a whopping $249.-

EDIT: Update problems seem to have been fixed.

Does the desktop version sound better than the iOS version? I tried the iOS version and ran it through the same desktop monitors I've used testing other plugins. Cleans and low gain models sounded great. But the high gain models didn't do it for me, not much better than anything Line6 based I've tried. Overloud TH2 is still my favorite modeling plugin overall if the desktop version of Bias sounds the same as the iOS version.

that plexi does sound really good....but I have a hard time paying over 50$ for anything like this given all the free amp/cab sims out there. I only really need them for silent play anyway.
