Actually, the Gotoh 510 stays in tune better than my original Edge Ibanez RG570 (and yes, it was properly set up). All you lose are some of the more crazy Floyd effects since the trem isn't recessed.

I agree. I think we get too caught up in the "I MUST HAVE THIS NOW" mentality, which leads to credit card debt, poor quality, and outsourcing of jobs. Personally I feel like it's high time we treat our trade partners the way they treat us: like shit. Because the US really gets screwed...
That's pretty much universal street for a Pro S1.

You can find them for less used if you really look. Got mine for $1100 out the door ;)
While I think it's great that there is a budget line of Suhr guitars now being offered--and not to politicize this thread--but I feel this was a missed opportunity for John Suhr and Ed Yoon to create some more jobs in our increasingly outsourced economy. In an age with real unemployment...
My Guytron GT100. Since the whole idea is an 18watt Marshall style power amp running full blast into a dummy load, and then amplified with an ultra-clean 100watt EL34 power section, it sounds fantastic at any volume (including direct out with cab impulses).
Sucks living in an apartment...
Based on the description, I'd say the Nailbomb is the BKP version of an Aldrich (with obvious differences, of course, but the NB is probably closest).
BK pickups rock though, so I'm sure you'll be happy :D I love my Holy Diver and VHII set!
I've traded in some stuff to the local GC before. You just have to be firm about how you do the deal. It also heavily depends on which store you go to; try to find a super busy store where the managers would rather be selling Strat Packs than dealing with you. Also, a lot of stores like to...
I think someone needs to bitch-slap whoever in Schecter's marketing division feels EVERYTHING needs to have fucking abalone binding. I mean, I like abalone, but there's a point where it just because gaudy like a pair of $10,000 tits.
It's having vendors like THIS on Rig-Talk that keeps me coming back. David, you're a class act and have me GASing for one of your 2x12's now
I'm really digging my Eventide Timefactor. If you want Edge sounds, you absolutely must run two delays; Timefactor will do this (and even comes with some fantastic U2 presets).
Not to throw a wrench in your choices, but have you considered the Digitech Hardwire RV-7? I was skeptical too, but after I tried it I was sold.
That said, the Tech 21 is supposed to be pretty freakin' sweet.
