Guys. I need a programmable midi switcher, one that includes switching for pedals. Something reasonably priced if possible. I’m a gigging musician and need something to keep me from dancing on stage all the time.
Absolutely. Play some, walk in with the money and start playing. I went into a store with the intention of just trying out the 57 classic split coil pick ups, the only guitar in the store was a 2014 Classic Custom (more like a standard than a Custom). The guitar is weight relief (standard relief...
I bought some Mullards recently to go in my Marshall's (one a 6100 and a 74 MKII) and they added some gain; amps still sond great. The 6100 especially sounded good because i had some old Marshall preamps in it.
i really like the sound of the Mullards
I have no idea what he means by hypoallergenic - but yes, i was considering buying one of these but i really hat buying guitars without playing one.
But, for $1000 - for a custom made guitar that's really nothing....but still, not like i'm flush with cash.
I do believe you can buy...
I found this guy on youtube. He makes some nice guitars (expensive, but who doesn't make expensive ones these days). He makes one piece, solid custom made guitars. Solid Korina, etc.
But, the thing that really turned me on to looking at this company was the Pickups. He has a Variable Inductive...
Fulltone ABY - has a phase switch on it too. I have it, haven't used it. A friend of mine says its killer as he has used it. I will as soon as my Marshall gets out of the Shop.
I love that J.R. Pedal - makes my Mesa Dual Recto and my Marshall tighten up some, focus the distortion a little and not be so loose and open...
And i've tried a ton of different pedals and this one i like the best....for now haha
I use this pedal from a guy called Joe Parker Guitars. I played his pedal at a guitar show and i totally loved it. Works well, easy to use but best of all it sounds great. Best sounding delay i've heard. It is a digital delay; its the only digital pedal on my bard, normally i still to analog...
I think knowing what type of music you play could influence what pickups/outputs you use?? (maybe...maybe not). I'm from Seattle, and i'm old, so i have that 90s grunge sound thing - it seems like its natural and trying to get the high gain, high output Eddie Van Halen sound just doesn't come...
Thanks Guys. Yes the photo was just for illustrative purposes showing a "sticker" not the speaker i have. The actual T number is T1281. Based on teh condition it came in, i'm willing to bet they are originals, but if not i would like to just restore them to whatever original they are.
Frankly...
I am in the process of repairing/restoring a 1974 Marshall 50W Amp MmkII (which works) and the Half Stack. The speakers are original 1974 Heritage celestion Marshalls. I am wondering if there is somewhere that I can purchase the Logo Stickers on the magnets anywhere?
thanks in advance

The Ozzy Tribute Album was the one that did it for me. I found the Tape on the ground one day (yeah seriously, wtf throws that out) and stuck it in the tape player and was floored when i heard it. The labels were worn off and it took a bit to figure out who it was, once Ozzy started singing i...
