I forgot to mention, I'd be more than happy with any general tone advice on how to achieve these types of tone. Maybe achieving this type of tone is more simple than I've considered. Perhaps a stock module just needs some certain EQ or something.

What module would you use to get closest to David's lead tones on P.U.L.S.E. Specifically the leads on Sorrow - not necessarily the intro riff, but the solo sections. EG5? MHG? EG3/4? Note this is a very different tone than the studio version on Momentary Lapse of Reason. I'm really looking...
