Has anyone else noticed a difference in attack or tone from the old EMG logo to a new one? I have 3 Ltd ec 1000s and I hear a difference. Could it be the ones with the older pickups have rosewood and the newer one is an ebony board?

I have 2 ltd ec 1000s that need a new nut where can I find a replacement?
