Depends on the styles you play. Ive always been told that id like RL better and have always been happy with both the RL diezels that ive had. From what ive heard the RLs are more versitile and a bit warmer than the frontloads. ..which is my cup of tea. It also depends of course on which head...
it doesnt have to be a "floyd rose", but i just need to be able to do a little whammy action every now and then;)
And Steve, lets get together soon and play some guitars through some diezels,...
Diezel herbert;)
jk...although its nice
Fender Twin for sure!! AND you can get great deals on them used for cheap! The cleans out of those amps just leap out at you with a blossomy chime that i havent really heard from other amps. Not that other amps dont have good cleans, but...
Bingo! This is what i consider thin.
I like wide necks! this is what i want.. :) Dont care too much then about the distance from the back of the neck to the front of the fretboard. I just need more spread for my fingers. And thank you all for your replys! Thanks also A. Wood for the...
Thinner necks make my hands cramp up and cause long term problems for me. Strats work because they are rounder and seem to work in a natural way with the hand. Ibanez necks are nice because they are wide. Combining the 2 would be perfect, but no thinner than a strat
Some people here say Suhr...
So im very serious about finding MY guitar now that ive found my amp for life for some time now.
I think i may have narrowed it down to either a Vigier or a Suhr.
Some questions i have are about A) The Tone and
B) The Neck
I know a lot of you guys...
Case in point, i play out at small venues all the time and its always like a dream to play through.
Last night i rocked the house with my Einstein at a relatively low volume just playing to backing tracks and original stuff!
Sooo much fun! People wonder why i lug around that amp just to play...
Piss!
Have you guys seen this dude play??!! Incredible control and technique. Ive grown bored of most shredders but this guy takes it to the next level fo sho!

My herbert also sounds great at low volumes in every way... BUTTTTTT
My Einstein lacks the harmonics at lower volumes that it only gets when you give it some volume.
It still sounds good and all, but, id have to say between the two, the herbert is better at low volumes.. at least between the 2...
+1
Thats what ive got in my 4X12. I was selling 2 of them but i have 1 left if you want to buy it like new. Im using 2 of them and 2 GK100's in an X config!
Action!
Find a USED Diezel, Bogner, or Mills Cabinet. The best of the best. And you cant beat a good deal on something used. Changing speakers is also like night and day but good QUALITY cabinet construction is also very important.
Ive never been thilled by any of the mesa's that ive played before btw..
Get a 4X12 (if your playing with a drummer) Rear loaded cab for what youre playing.
ANY one of the Diezel Rear loadeds are great for this. You can always change speakers but i think the rear loaded closed back design is the way to go for all the styles youre playing. I have both the old and...
Im excited!
It seems like an awesome combination. They seem like opposites that balance each other out like salt and pepper.
Never thought id like the tone better than my bogner with the CL80. ...until now
I just need to CRANK it. What i really like about each speaker is that there...

Really?? Nice! I bet he does actually... Why not? Its not like he cant afford it. Betcha hes a better surfer than guitarist;)
Seriously.. He does seem like a cool laid back guy. most surfers are...
Id like to see him in the lineup someday
Oh yea..! BIGTIME! Especially speakers. I think thats one thing i always overlooked. I knew they made some difference, but the difference is actually night and day to me now.
..now i just have to find the right guitar for me... :aww: It seems sooo hard..
