Diezel RL hempcone cab, or a bogner with CL-80's... I didnt like my einstein through GK100's. It sounds like we have similar tastes in tone.

Sounds like you mainly want it for Beefy Ripping rythym guitar tones.. ..if thats the case, try the hempcones and i dont think you'll look back. Best Rythym tone ive ever heard ! Just ripping! Very good for a variety of stuff. For "smooth" lead stuff though its just a little grainy for me...

Huh wow.. I heard that same thing a while ago. But yea the balance is crucial i heard. Too much is bad and too little is useless. Any certain brand etc that you reccomend?

Well i did recently switch from 8's to 9's. But something tells me thats not the issue. I play my guitar high and learned to play with a light touch years ago. I know the correct form from classical guitar. I will work more on my diet, stretching and hopefully prayer etc. It works wonders.

Well the hempcones are dominating in the area of cleans, bluesy grit, and heavy rythym. BUT What i need is something to "smooth" it out, tone it down, make it darker etc.. for the more Eric Johnson'y lead stuff. I dont like my lead stuff always sounding distorted. I like that tone That EJ had...

Just about anything handmade or custom. ALL Diezel amps (they may not still be in business, thus making them scarce) (and even if they are, they are still completely amazing sounding boutique amplifiers) Marshall JVM ..in my opinion, a flagship! Ibanez Jems, and Prestiges etc.. Anything...

Anybody here ever experimented with certain speakers in you DIEZEL cab? If so, what were the results? For example...: putting GK100's in the RL cab and it sounding smooth and dark...etc..etc..
