just working on this semi-old-school death metal band... Guitars are all Bogner....Rev2 Überschall (EH 6ca7 in power amp) through Bogner Uberkab (v30 and Greenback in X-Pattern)...a single sm57 on one of the v30 as well as on one of the Greenbacks....I thought you might enjoy the brutality this...

You won't get any increased volume from a boost in front of a distorted amp, you just get more saturation/distortion. Put the boost in the loop

I'm usin the v30/t75 combo in one of my Marshall cabs, doesn't sound enacting like the uberkab.

just put the EH6ca7 into my Uber, and I gotta say I like them so far. the bottom end goes a tiny little bit less deep than with the =C= KT88 (which actually is a good thing on this amp).. compared to the KT88 the 6ca7 are a bit less "HiFi" sounding, highs don't go quite as high and lows not...

Not sure, I would love to, but the plane tickets will probably be out of the budget...we'll see

Well, the problem with the pup comparison videos is, that the differences can mainly be felt when playing it yourself, so in these videos they appear to be more subtle than they actually are....but you'll get the general idea about the differences I think
