Again, the price everyone is seeing on lamusic.ca is in canadian dollars which I believe is around .65 on the US dollar. These should be priced in the $850 to $900 range here in the US.
They are if you order them from the custom shop. Feel free. If the Pro Mods were made in the US I guarentee you they would be about $200 or more street price. They were $899 when made in the US and that ended around 2010. No way they could still make them for that and be profitable.
There is nothing wrong with the MIM Charvels. I own five and love them. They play great and are well made.
I did check out the specs on the new ones for NAMM and it looks like they went cheap on the necks for 2016. Instead of single piece quarter-sawn maple they are now 2 piece regular cut...
It's a relatively easy fix if it is a bolt-on neck because you can adjust the neck in the cavity. With a neck thru, about the only thing you can do is go from an R4 nut to an R3 as the R3 is slightly shorter in length. That said, I wouldn't deal with headache if it were me.
I guess I'm not one of those hooked on the made in usa thing. I had a made in USA so cal back in 2010 and it was a really nice guitar. Ended up selling it when I bought two USA Jackson Adrian Smith strats. Over the last couple of years, I've bought a bunch of the made in mexico pro mods ( I...
I run my Pedaltrain Pro with a PP2+ and ISO 5. I bought a y-adapter cable that is female three prong on one end, into two male IEC plugs to power both power supply's. Works perfectly.
One thing to keep in mind with the Intellifex is that you need to set the mixer to "pre" before the Hush and not use the Hush. This will keep your signal path pure analog and will not degrade your tone.
I was at both of those shows in LaX. I believe Uriah Heap opened for DL and if I remember correctly Heaven opened for Priest. I've seen a bunch of killer shows at the LaCrosse Center. Great memories!
I have the e570 and 850/100 combo. I've had the preamp for well over 10 years and the poweramp for over five. Never had a single issue with either. Love this combo.....just brutal but versatile at the same time.
I Have two of AS USA's. I wouldn't of paid $2k new for them but I got them both in brand new condition used for $1100 or $1200 each. Well worth that. Similar neck to the Charvel SoCal but a little thinner and I felt, overall, a nicer finish. I love mine
Weird. I opened my brand new one yesterday and mine has a "0" resister in C7. You can also adjust the modulation depth and rate with a jewelers srewdriver.
Looks like the video was filmed in a mining ghost town in Nelson, NV. I t's about an hour from Vegas. Cool little place. Been there a few times.
