    Incoming NGD

That is sweet ! I love the reverse headstock and fixed bridge.

Vivian Campbell Straight Through the Heart solo close up.

Best bass tone I've ever heard was Jimmy Bains in 2000 I think ? At the Ballard Fire House. It was so killer !

Best plexi that's not a plexi

This is my modded bassman. I'm using a little delay and a tube screamer. The tube screamer was set pretty low. I was noodling, really just trying to show the tone of the amp. I'm playing a telecaster thinline with dimarzio transitions.

Best plexi that's not a plexi

The original Helios does the plexi thing spot on and much more. I've had mine next to a 71 50 watt and it was very difficult to notice much difference. Once you add the diode clipping it makes it way more 80's modded sound. I also have a modded late 60's bassman. It does the plexi type thing...

    Giuffria..

I hear a lot of shit talking. That is fine and pretty funny. Yet I'm confident these guys blow all the shit talkers away. I'm not into trying to put others down , but I've heard plenty of clips and watched people patronize others that are mediocre players at best . All the while talking shit and...

    Lynch with Music Mod

For the record. Lynch is my favorite guitar player in his early years especially. But I said it before and will say it again. Jon Levin sounds more like Lynch and does the Dokken stuff better then George. I'm glad they are still out playing.

Has anyone tried this Celestion Speaker?

It might make your eyes red ? Listening for long periods can cause drowsiness. It helps with creativity, but you can't remember what you did .

    Bogner Uberkab speaker change

I guess it is all opinion ? I have 2 2x12 cabs with 1v30 and 1 75 cream back. I love them ? I have an Ubercab that is stock and I hate it. Eventually I will ditch the gt75 speakers.

Bogner Helios, Peavey 5150, Mesa Mark V:25- riffs and clips

I'm a Helios fan and love mine. That said, I still think it has a little something extra the others don't.

For 72....Lou G sounds pretty damn good.

Saw Glenn Hughes with the Deaddasies. A year ago and they kicked ass ! Glenn still has an amazing voice. Kicks it on the bass as well.

This kid continues to blow me away..

Dude who ever the older dude is ? He rips. Sounds good they are both great players.

    NGD - Chubtone

That is a really sweet guitar ! Exactly how I would have mine. H s , well at first glance , but then I see it's a small humbucker. and hockey headstock. Ready to make music ! What pickups ?

Today's fuckery... metal at the grammys! Ultralead content ?

    Lynch's Spec Guitars

As much as I love Lynchs playing and his esp guitars look so cool. He has always been cool when I have talked with him. However inho he is a whore for the dollar. Endorsements, money, money , money. I can't see dropping that kind of coin on any guitar ? I guess a few of mine on paper are worth a...

    Boss Katana vs tube amps?

Just think how stoked those of us who had a peavey backstage back in the day would have been with one of the Katans.

    Boss Katana vs tube amps?

The statement about the eq I agree with. The Katana feeds back way too much at loud volumes. But I have played and even recorded live at band levels. Really it is just a cheap amp I use for practice.

    Boss Katana vs tube amps?

I have a katana 100 head. It does not compare to my tube amps. However for the 375.00 I think it cost new when they came out it is hard to beat. It is very loud and does fine in a band setting. Plus it has a small speaker and can be used as a tiny practice amp. It does quite a bit . I really...
