Just sounds like Journey Lite to me which even in 84 was probably a dated sound on its way out and they don’t sound heavy enough to fit in with with the “metal” bands so I can understand why they struggled

Not the best name for a band but Greg Guiffria was the one with some history at that point being from the band Angel. And of course the bass player, Chuck Wright was in the band Dubrow, which was rebranded Quiet Riot, he recorded several bass part tracks for the Metal Health album before being replaced by Rudy Sarzo who wanted back in the band post Ozzy.

If memory serves, they wanted to bring the Angel name out of retirement, but ran into legal snags, so ended up going with the name of the most famous musician in the group.

I can fondly recall listening to their music a number times. It's a bit on the light-and-fluffy side for me, but still fun and enjoyable.

Yep I believe so.

You guys are savages!
They had a minor hit with this song. Good song.
Can't believe it was 1984. It seems more late 80's. I guess they were ahead of the big hair curve!

OMFG I actually just watched these chicks lol

Not a Band people talk about on here.. I was listening to Hair Nation Deep Cuts and this came on.. Very well produced indeed. They don't make records that sound like this anymore..
A young Craig Goldy putting down advanced chops on this for 1984! Singer has tons of energy and sings his ass off on this. In the vein of Journey.
Maybe U enjoy?

I liked them quite a bit back when their first album was released. Good stuff for the time.

Lol, I was wondering wtf a giuffria was or how you even say it. That is terrible lol

lol, funny you say that because i see it come up on sattelite radio and I always think the same thing. I'm Italian background so I know how it " would" be pronounced but there is no way anyone was saying it " jew - free - a" ..more like " Juffra" in the States. It's lame either way. If you are going to have a band named after you, make sure your name is catchy ( Van Halen)

Or something cool like Slaughter lol

Good thing his last name wasn't Dix

I hear a lot of shit talking.
That is fine and pretty funny.
Yet I'm confident these guys blow all the shit talkers away.
I'm not into trying to put others down , but I've heard plenty of clips and watched people patronize others that are mediocre players at best .
All the while talking shit and loving on clowns that sound like mashed ass like Reza .
That's my 50 cents.

Goldy wearin' a sweater with shoulder pads.. You Fag! LOL

Who the hell came up with that outfit for him? Also the hang out with the dude playing the keys during his ballad solo.

Great pipes on the singer though.

I like the first Angel album. They have the best band logo, it still looks the same when you flip it upside down!
