I had a PAF Pro in the neck of an IC300 Iceman. Sounded great... really smooth and thick. I think Dimarzios go great with Ibanez guitars. Just look at how many Ibanez signature models have Dimarzios in them. I also think it would be a good match with the JVM since it has so much gain and the PAF...

Every guitar amp (combo) I have played with a 15" has sounded better than its 1x12 or even 2x12 counterpart. I wish there was a greater selection of 15's to choose from. :doh:

I had some Celestion 65's in a Marshall combo I had (my first tube amp), but didn't realize what great speakers they were at the time. When you get the time could you compare the 65's in the Bogner to the V30's that were in there. Thanks Thump. :thumbsup:

I've seen them use 5150's and Rectos live. I agree that their tone probably has more to do with the production than the amp.

If you want an actual PURE clean tone, then the 410 is the only way to go. Those 2 channel models' clean tone is very dirty at best. Plus, I just dig the 410 more. :rock:

Joe modded a Boss DS-1, SD-1 and a CE-2 chorus for me and gave me a hell of a deal (Thanks again Joe!). DS-1: I got the “11” mod with optional diode switch. The diode switch decreases the gain a bit, but gives the pedal a bigger, fatter tone; IMO it becomes more amp-like. Flipped the other way...

I've tried the top wrap method several times over the course of having my Les Paul. I couldn't tell any significant difference in anything any of those times, but I did see the hard corner some of the strings were bending at like Marshall Freak mentioned so I just went back to the normal...
